Originally born in Columbus, Ohio, I moved with my family to Wilmington, North Carolina, when I was eight. I grew up here, having gone to school at Masonboro Elementary, Myrtle Grove Middle, and Hoggard High School. I went to UNC Chapel Hill for Undergrad, where I received degrees in both History and English. I also received my Master of Arts in Teaching, where I worked towards getting licensed for K-12 Special Education and Secondary Social Studies. This will be my fourth year at Roland-Grise Middle School, and I am excited to see what the year will bring! As a final personal note, I am getting married on September 2nd of this year!
