Nice to meet you!

Hello, my name is Lisa Wrona and I am thrilled to be your child's second grade teacher this year! I am committed to making your child's second grade experience a great one. Let me tell you a little about myself:

• I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education from Illinois State University in 2015.

• I completed my Master's Degree in Teaching and Learning from the University of St. Francis in 2019.

• I have taught kindergarten and 2nd grade. I taught kindergarten at Whittier in DG58 before coming to Lester in 2020.

• In my free time, I enjoy going for walks and hikes, going to SPENGA or yoga, working on puzzles, cooking, and spending time with my husband, James, and our dog, Ted.

MY FAVORITES:

• Colors- pink, purple, green, blue (once you see my classroom, you'll understand that I like color!)

• Drinks- coffee and Passionfruit or Guava La Croix

• Stores- Amazon, Target, Chewy, Anthropologie, Nordstrom, Abercrombie, Lululemon, Vintage Charm

• Places to Eat- Fire and Wine (Glen Ellyn), Gia Mia, Rebel Kitchen (Lombard), More Brewing (Villa Park)

• Children's Book- Can I Be Your Dog? By Troy Cummings

• TV Show- Ted Lasso, Severance, Silo (basically, anything on Apple TV)
