Who am I? 

I hold an associates degree in liberal studies, as well as an associate teacher certification (preschool). I have a Bachelor's of science degree in Business with a minor in social psychology and a Master's of Arts in education. I have a multi-subject teaching credential as well as a single subject teaching credential in art! 

I started my teaching journey in Carlsbad, CA after working in finance for 8 years. I have taught just about all grades and have also taught elementary science. I was an education coordinator for three years, focusing on environments, before coming to Valley Center. I have been working in Valley Center-Pauma Unified School District for 11 years now. I taught elementary and High school art/ceramics and this will be my 2nd year as the elementary art teacher. 

In my free time, I enjoy hanging out with my five kids. I have two in high school this year, one in middle and one in elementary. They keep me on my toes! They are all in sports, so that is typically where you can find me. We love camping and road tripping. I also love gardening, photography and working on my house, and of course creating art!
