Ear Simulation and Performance Improvement for Hearing Aid.
Project Description: Approximately 5% of the global population is affected by hearing loss, in many cases causing significant disability. The speech enhancement in hearing aid is designed and developed by Fourier transformation technique in most of the cases. The purpose of this work is to develop the Hartley Fourier transformation (STHT) based speech processing technique for hearing Impairment.
The proposed algorithm is implemented on MATLAB and verified with VCV words. The results are verified in terms of pitch and power of VCV words. The pitch changes are detected which may be useful for sensor in neural hearing loss with identified poor temporal.
