Mrs. Upp was born in Belleville, IL and grew up in Morton, IL. She loves her family very much. She has two little brothers, Michael and Jonathon, and a little sister, Kenlee. She lives with her husband, daughter: Genevieve, three cats: Tollhouse, Thumper, and The Great Prince Motor, and five guinea pigs: Leia, Rey, Han Solo, Daisy, and Ginger in Washington, IL. 

Mrs. Upp has always loved school from a very young age. She graduated from Illinois State University in 2019. This is Mrs. Upp's fifth year teaching and second year at Oak Grove.
