A Little About Me...

My name is Tamie Thompson and I teach 3rd grade at Cedar Ridge Elementary. I’m entering my 25th year of teaching and have enjoyed every minute of helping my sweet kiddos grow as learners. I’m originally from Pennsylvania, that’s why I love the Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies, but Augusta has been home now for over 20+ years. I graduated from Lakeside High School, then went on to Georgia Southern University. Later, I earned my Masters degree from Augusta University. After college, I married my husband, Marc, and have two amazing children, Caroline and Cole. I also have the sweetest Goldendoodle, Max, except when he’s being naughty chewing on everything!
