Fragmented Faces

Eighth-grade students embarked on a fascinating journey through art history by independently selecting a renowned artist from across time and cultures. This in-depth exploration involved:

• Intensive Research: Students delved into the life and artistic contributions of their chosen artist, examining their techniques, styles, inspirations, and impact on the art world.

• Creative Interpretation: Building upon their research, each student created a unique and original mixed media artwork. This piece served as a personal interpretation of the chosen artist's style, philosophy, or a specific artwork that resonated with them.
