Setting Up Your Notebook
1. Write your name on the front cover of your notebook with a permanent marker. If this is not possible (you have a black/dark cover), write your name on the inside of the notebook.

2. Label the first two pages (front and back) of your notebook "Table of Contents."

3. Starting with the number 5, list numbers 5-100 going vertically down the first page. Do not skip any lines and be sure to continue down to the very bottom of the page. (You will probably get to number 30 or so on the first page.)

8. Return to the first page of your notebook. In the top right corner, write the number 1. Turn the page, and write 2 in the top left corner. Write 3 on the opposite page. Continue this process until you have reached the middle of your notebook at which point you should stop at page 100. Be careful with this step. It is the most time-consuming and tedious, but it is very important. You will write even numbers on the left and odd numbers on the right.

10. Grab a post-it note, and label the non-sticky side "Bell-Ringers" and place it on the top of the page. This marker will move through the section to hold your place.

11. Tape your Plicker to the inside back cover of your notebook. Make sure the letters and QR code are not covered. It does not matter the direction you put the QR code on your notebook.
