Performance Details: Lion King Scenes at Options Showcase

Monday, January 26th - FULL Performance @ 9am 

This is the day that all scenes - between all three Options days - are put together for a full performance of the story of the Lion King. If your student is unable to attend, please us   ASAP so we can make other arrangements for their part. We sincerely hope they can all be there! Doors will open at 9a and the show will begin shortly after.

ARRIVAL:  Students performing Lion King scenes should arrive at 7:55 and go straight to the THEATER classroom. Please arrive in your appropriate costume (listed below). From there we will head to the auditorium for a rehearsal. Parents are welcome to stay until the 9a performance but unfortunately audience members will not be let in the auditorium early.  

Tues. 1/27 & Wed. 1/28 - Single Scene Performances @ 9am

If your student also attends on Tuesday or Wednesday, they will be performing the singular scenes again on their respective performance day - it will not be the full performance. Please wear or bring appropriate clothing again.

ARRIVAL:  Students performing Lion King scenes on Tuesday OR Wednesday should arrive at 8:15 and head to the THEATER classroom. Please arrive in your appropriate costume (listed below). From there we will head to the auditorium for a rehearsal. 

Lion King Costumes:

Since multiple actors will be playing the same character, we’re asking that all matching characters should try to wear the same color shirt. That way, when actors switch, the audience will still know who you are! Please pick from the following options.  If you don’t have the exact shade, get as close as you can. Please wear PLAIN shirts with NO GRAPHICS. Black or dark pants would be preferred. Short sleeves, long sleeves, sweatshirts, etc. are all okay. All students are supplied with animal ears as well. 

Simba: Yellow/Gold
Nala: Light Pink, Light Purple

Mufasa: Red/Maroon

Sarabi: Lavendar, Light Grey

Scar: Black, Dark Grey

Rafiki: Tan

Hyenas: Grey, Black

Zazu: Neon Blue, Orange, or Yellow

Timon & Pumba: Green, Blue
Animal Ensemble/Jungle Friends: White
