Welcome to 4th grade! I am Mrs. Broughton, and I'll be your fourth-grade teacher this year. I was born and raised in Sioux Falls, and graduated from O'Gorman High School and Dakota State University. I previously taught middle school in Nebraska and Sioux Falls, and have been teaching 4th grade in Canton since 2003. My husband, Kyle, and I have three grown children. Tanner is self-employed and operates his own landscaping business. He and his wife Tracey, live in Dakota Dunes and are expecting their first baby this spring. Jaydn lives in Sioux Falls and works as a firefighter for SFFR. Zada, our daughter, is finishing up her undergrad degree at SDSU before she gets married in 2024 and starts her Master's program in Social Work. When not in school, I enjoy watching and attending SDSU & C-Hawk events, reading, spending time at the lake, baking, and shopping for great deals. I look forward to a great year with you in my class!
