About Mrs. Schorr

Hi, I'm Mrs. Schorr! I'm the math teacher on Team H. This year is my 8th year at BJHS and my 11th year teaching junior high math.  In 2013, I graduated from Bradley University with my bachelors degree in elementary education and endorsements to teach math at the 6-8 level. I also recently finished my master's degree in Teaching and Learning with a focus on technology. My favorite part of teaching math is working through really difficult problems with students and then watching the lightbulb moment when students have a breakthrough! 

When I'm not teaching or working at school, you could find me reading, working in my flower beds, or hiking with my husband.  My favorite hobby is training my dogs Luke and Zelda for competitive obedience and other fun dogs sports.
