Every book ordered earns us FREE books for our classroom! You can place orders anytime during the school year, but look out for the monthly order forms that I will send home with your child. It will contain a monthly due date which will be the date that I will submit that months order. You can either place orders two ways:

• by sending back the completed order form inside the flyer (inside an envelope with your child's name on it) containing the method of payment (check or cash is accepted).
• Or directly on the website anytime!

Connect to our Raz-Kids online reading program!

Our school purchased accounts for your child to take advantage of this wonderful reading program! Your child can read books on a computer, tablet, or phone at any time. Your child may choose to have books read to them as they follow along, or they can read the books independently. I suggest that you monitor your child while they read (especially in the beginning of the year). The website has a great functionality of allowing your child to record themselves reading books and it can be sent to me! I can then review the recordings for fluency, and reward them stars. The more books your child reads, the more stars they earn. They can then use these stars to "build a robot" on the website! There is also a Raz Kids app that you can download.

Steps to connect on Raz Kids:

3. Click on your child's name (I suggested teaching them which icon is theirs so they can memorize it!)
4. Your child's password is: the apple icon

Homeroom: Please download the app "Homeroom", where I will share photos and videos from all academic and special events this year. It is like instagram, but it is a private album for classrooms! Feel assured that this album will only be shared between K-03 families and myself! If you provided your email address on the family interview form, that is the email address I will use to invite you. Please reach out to me if you were not invited and will like to be added.

Class Dojo: Another great app that I will use to communicate with you this year is Class Dojo. I will send home a flyer with a unique sign up code that you must use when registering under your account, which I will have connected with your child's name. Please use your unique code when signing up!
