CLASSROOM GUIDELINES

• •Show Christian love and respect for other people and things.

• •Help maintain an educational atmosphere:

• •Raise your hand before speaking, unless otherwise directed.

• •Please stay in your assigned seat unless otherwise directed.

• •Work time in class is to be used for work, primarily work for THIS course. If you finish before class is over, you need to remain quiet so that your classmates can concentrate on their work.

• •Please do not bring food or drinks into the classroom. Water is allowed in clear bottles only.

• •You are expected to be attentive and take notes during class.

• •The work you submit must be your own original work, unless other instructions are given. Discussion is a great way to deepen your understanding, but your work must still indicate your own knowledge.

• •If we have an issue during class, I will do my best to discuss it with you privately. Any incidents may be reported to the Dean of Students, and parents may be contacted. If I feel that a person’s physical or mental well-being is in jeopardy, immediate action will be taken.

• •Any additional incidents will be referred to the Dean of Students or Principal for further follow-up.

• If you have any questions or concerns, please talk to me! I am here to help you learn; if you need anything, please don’t be afraid to ask.
