I am a traditionally certified elementary educator with 18 years of dedicated experience in Oklahoma public schools. For the past eight years, I have taught second grade at Colcord Elementary. Prior to this, I spent a decade specializing as a middle school mathematics teacher, giving me a deep understanding of students' academic development from early foundational skills through middle school transitions.

My goal as a Math Specialist is to inspire students to develop strong foundational math skills while fostering confidence, critical thinking, and a lifelong love of learning. Through engaging and meaningful learning experiences, I am committed to helping every student grow as a problem solver, build confidence in their abilities, and reach their full potential in mathematics.

In addition to my full time job as an educator, I am also on the Cherokee Nation NATRI curriculum team that creates cultural lessons supporting Native educators across the region. 

I enjoy learning new things and consider myself a lifelong learner. More importantly, I love sharing my experiences that make meaningful and positive changes. In my spare time, I enjoy making memories with my loved ones.
