My name is Mrs. Quijada-Sawitsky and I live in Battleford with my husband, two sons, and dog. I teach with LSSD Virtual School and have been teaching for 18 years. Other places I have taught are at Battleford Central School, St. Vital School, Cando School, Makwa Sahgaiehcan and Radius Community Center. I have taught many different grades and enjoy them all, especially Grade 7 and 8. Aside from teaching, I enjoy playing with my sons, taking walks with Disco, travelling, watching movies, bike riding, skiing, camping, dancing and playing music, especially my fiddle. I have been playing the fiddle since I was 5 and play the piano a bit. I dislike crazy drivers, hot coffee and extreme weather (either really hot or really cold). Some goals I have are to learn to play the piano better, to be more physically active and to be a great mom. I look forward to the wonderful adventures we will have this year in 7/8 Virtual!
