Meet The Teacher

Hello, my name is Megan Pattinato and I am going to be teaching 4th grade this year. This is my 3rd year at Ave Maria Academy and I am very excited to be here! 

Here's a little bit of information about me . . .

I graduated from Keystone Oaks High School in 2002. I attended the University of Pittsburgh where I earned a Bachelor of Arts as well as a Masters Degree in Elementary Education. I am also a certified Special Education Teacher.

In 2010, I married my wonderful husband David. We have known one another since the sixth grade and began dating in high school. He also attended the University of Pittsburgh. We are both big sports fans and love going to Pitt games!  We are currently living in Upper Saint Clair with our daughters Margaret Jo (Maggie for short) and Josephine May (Josie for short), our son Dominic David (DD for short), and our Border Collie, Mickey!

Something that you may not know about me is that I love traveling, and spending as much time at the beach as possible. My favorite place to go is Myrtle Beach! I have been traveling there every summer with my family since I was a baby!

I know that we are going to have an awesome year and can't wait to get to know all of the students in 4th grade!
