Homework

Each day the children choose a book to read at home. It is very important to read with your child each night to instill a love of reading!

On the first of the week (usually Monday) we will send a paper home stamped homework. The children will have all week to complete it. It must be returned by Friday. The children will recieve a sticker for their efforts.

-Please read over it with your child. Have your child trace the upper and lower case letter in pencil only!

-Be sure to color the picture with crayons or colored pencils

Each Friday will be Fun Friday! We will ask your child to bring in something beginning with the letter of the week. You can use the computer to print a picture, you can send in a toy that starts with that letter or a food item. For example, letter A you could send in an apple, a stuffed alligator or ape or a picture of an airplane or angel. The children will then use this for show and tell on Fridays.
