Hi Families!
This website will be our spot to send any important information such as schedules, lunch menus, important dates, and reminders. I will also send home a weekly homework sheet that will have all of the same information on it as well.
For communication purposes, we will use an app called Seesaw. I will be sending information on how to connect in your child's folder. You will need to download this on your phone. You will be able to connect with our classroom and communicate any questions or concerns you may have. I try to respond quickly, but please allow until the end of the day for me to respond. If you happen to have a question after school hours, please allow until the next school day for me to respond.
My e-mail is stephenie.mosley@spart2.org.

4K has high expectations for all students. It is also an extremely important transition period for students. In our classroom, positive reinforcement and praise is used to encourage continued success. IF a negative behavior persists, students will be met with a consequence. In the rare case that unacceptable behaviors are consistent without any improvements, parents will be notified so that we can work through the issue as a team. Students each have a clip on our behavior chart with their picture on it. Every student starts on GREEN each day. Here is how our color system works...
Green: Ready to start the day!
Yellow: Student has had 3 warnings
Orange: Student has not shown any improvements and is consistently making poor choices.
Red: Unacceptable and unsafe behavior that has continued all day.
Your child's color for the day will be noted on their monthly calendar that is located in their take home folder. If, for some reason, your child is on anything less than green for the day, there will be a note explaining what happened.
We will use Seesaw as our main form of communication. I will send home instructions on how to get registered on the first day of school. If you have any trouble, or any questions, please reach out to me.
Please allow until the next business day for me to respond. 99% of the time, I am able to respond fairly quickly, but there will be times when my responses may be delayed until the next day.
This is where I will push out weekly updates and any reminders.
My e-mail is Stephenie.Mosley@spart2.org
We will also have a monthly calendar that will stay in your child's red folder (which should come back and forth to school each day). This folder will communicate your child's daily behavior.
Typically we do NOT send red folders home on Friday. There might be an occasional Friday where we need to send information home in which case, red folders will be sent home then.
Change of Transportation: if your child will be going home a different way than usual, please send me a Seesaw message and call the front office and let them know. I don't always see my messages in time, so it's important that you notify both me and the front office just in case.
