About me

I love spending time with my family and friends. I married my high school sweetheart in 2018 and his name is Alex. We've been inseparable for 11 years now. We have a 13-year-old dog named Dino who loves to sleep and has to be at my side.

I come from a blended family. On one side I have my dad, my stepmom, and my older brother. On the other side I have my mom, my stepdad, my older stepbrother, and my two younger half sisters. I love my big family and I try to see everyone as much as possible. Family is so important to me as I'm sure it is for you, too.

In my spare time, I love to go on long hikes and camp in the High Sierras (especially destinations along Kaiser Pass). I also love to paint and I like to use either acrylic or oil to create landscapes. My perfect food day would include eggs benedict, a spicy shrimp burrito from Don Pepe's, any kind of sushi with spicy tuna, and a dessert I make that my husband likes to call "Sweet Nachos". My husband and I love to host friends and family at our new home that we moved to last year.

Teaching is a lifestyle for me. This is my 3rd year teaching 3rd grade. I have also taught Kindergarten, 1st grade, and 6th grade. Your child will always be my student and they will also become my teacher throughout the year. All students have so much to offer as they see the world through a different pair of glasses. My students will always be welcome to visit with me and ask me questions long after they have left my class.
