Hello Parents! My name is Kelly McWilliams and I will be your child's Kindergarten teacher. I can not express how excited I am to work with both you and your child this coming school year. This will be my ninth year of teaching, but my fourth year here at St. Pius X! In May of 2016, I graduated from Cabrini University where I completed my Bachelors of Science in Elementary and Special Education. Following graduation, I taught Pre-K for two and a half years, 2nd grade for three years, and now this will be my third year in Kindergarten!
This year will be filled with fun, laughter, adventures and most importantly learning! In my classroom, your child will be cared for and loved. I will value their ideas, thoughts, and actions. I believe each child is unique and therefore will have unique talents and strengths that they will share with myself and their peers. My wish for this year is to instill a love of learning for each child in my classroom in order to create lifelong learners. I am eager to get this year started and learn about each and every one of my students.
I grew up in Havertown and attended Sacred Heart School followed by Cardinal O'Hara High School. I got married in 2021 to my wonderful husband, Victor, who I have known since I was 16 years old. On January 19th, 2024, Victor and I welcomed our baby girl, Lily Mae, into the world. She is the happiest and sweetest little girl and we are loving every bit of parenthood. My favorite thing to do is spend time with my family and friends and watching my little girl experience things for the first time. I love traveling to new places and spending my summers at my families shore house in North Wildwood, New Jersey!
