School Uniforms

As the weather gets warmer, please be sure your child has a lighter layer to wear in the classroom like a school approved sweater or sweatshirt. After April vacation, jackets will no longer be an option to wear inside school. Since there is a back order on uniform orders, students may wear navy, black, burgundy, gray solid sweatshirts/sweaters if students do not own a uniform sweater, vest, or a St. Rose sweatshirt.

About me

Hello! My name is Cheryl Maynard and I am so happy to be teaching 5th grade this year!

I began my career as a city planner. I studied political science, and then environmental planning at the University of Rhode Island, earning both my Bachelor's and Master's degrees. I more recently fulfilled a longtime goal to become an educator, completing my teacher certification at Providence College.

I have been married to my husband Michael for 25 years, and we have 4 children, two in college and two starting high school. I enjoy playing tennis, hiking and reading!

This will be an exciting year with many adventures and new academic challenges! I'm looking forward to sharing and learning with you.
