I am not committed to just a job, but to the teaching profession as a whole. I place high value on constant learning and I always take the initiative when it comes to attending conferences, workshops and talks that can prepare me to be a better teacher.

Ever since I was a teenager I’ve had a keen interest in learning and bettering myself, and I believe that if I use the right tools and strategies, this hunger for learning and self-improvement can be picked up by students who can then incorporate these values into their own lives now and in the future.

I hold a B.S. from Chadron State College in Elementary Education with an English Minor as well as a M.S. in Psychology from Walden University.

In addition to being a teacher, I am a wife and mom to four children. We have 2 boys and 2 girls. When I am not at school, I enjoy being creative with photography, reading a good book, or playing a card or board game with my family.

Feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns that pop up.
