About Me
I am from West Virginia and I’m going to let you know about it.
This is my fourth year in my own classroom, but I have been subbing since 2012. In literally every class.
I’ve had a bunch of random jobs (worked at a coal mine, conspiracy theory podcast researcher, public information officer at the WV Legislature, various and sundry forms of latte slinging, etc.).
I live with my husband, two dogs (Dolly and Jolene), and two cats (Conway Kitty and Lon).
I went to Marshall University in Huntington, WV. I have a bachelor's degree in print journalism and a master's in teaching social studies. I plan on working on an Administration degree soon!
I used to trail run and I’ve broken both of my heels simultaneously. Now I just run regularly, if I'm not injured.
I like gardening, photography, sewing, and gaming. I might be your grandma. I have a photography business on the side. Learn more about it here.
I used to do reenactments and am a passable seamstress.
I worked in marketing before I came back to teaching, which gives me interesting insight to my Econ class.
