Digital Access refers to the availability and access to technology for every student. Teachers and administrators need to know the availability that the students have to technology outside of school and assign work accordingly. Educators need to provide alternative lessons to students who do not have access to technology or provide them with the appropriate technology to do assignments.
For example teachers need to either provide students with Chromebook or other forms of technology to do assignments outside of school, or allow them computer lab time in class to do assignments. They need to understand that not all children have free access to technology outside of school and needs to accommodate for that and make it fair.
