Title: Turbulent Forced Convection Heat Transfer of Nanofluids Inside Non-Circular Ducts.
This study gives detailed literature related to turbulent forced convection heat transfer of nanofluids in rectangular, square, triangular, and corrugated ducts, etc. The effects of turbulence, the type of nanofluids used, their physical properties, concentration, and particle size on the enhancement of heat transfer for the various geometry of the duct are reviewed.
Title: Downhole corrosion challenges and mitigation.
This study provides an overview of the prominent corrosion mechanisms in downhole operations. This also discusses corrosion monitoring and control techniques that will minimize downhole corrosion in the petrochemical, refining, gas, and oil industry. The respective mitigation techniques used to tackle each corrosion type are also presented.
Title: Performance Investigation of Integrated Active Solar Still with bubble column and water-cooled Condenser.
This study investigated the effects of adding heated air bubble column, solar heated water and water-cooled condenser, on the efficiency (which is expressed by Gained Output Ratio (GOR) and production capacity. From this experimental study it is understood that the most important parameter of performance is water-bed temperature. With the incorporation of air heater and bubble column the production rate is increased but their effect is minimal compared to the effect of heating the feed water to increase the bed temperature. Because it increases the evaporation rate a lot.
Title: Performance analysis of supersonic air ejector.
Performance of supersonic air ejector has been investigated for different motive fluid pressure and different geometric parameters, where the relationship between these parameters and entrainment ratio is established. This study shows that higher pressure leads to relatively lower entrainment ratio and the geometric parameters like length of mixing section, constant area section, diffuser also have effect in entrainment ratio.
