I am thrilled to have you in my class! This is my 3rd year teaching at Rochelle School of the Arts. I have learned so much over my 8 years of teaching and I am so excited to be teaching you Math and Science. This year is going to be full of fun, discovery, and lots of adventures. I can’t wait to see you grow! I thought you might want to know a little bit more about me.
I grew up in the suburbs of Chicago, IL before moving to Tennessee for college. There, I graduated from Lee University with a degree in Elementary and Middle Grades Education. In Tennessee, I got married and taught 4th grade for four years.
Our family then moved to Georgia, where I taught 7th grade for 1.5 years. I have two children, Penny who is 5 years old and Davey who is 3.5. During my free time I like to explore the city, perform in community theatre, and drink COPIOUS amounts of coffee and tea.
