Special Projects for Home Support:
FIRST DAYS OF SCHOOL - 2nd Grade students will be bringing home an "All About Me Bag" activity to complete and bring back to present as a "Show and Tell" activity. Each student will take turns sharing about themself so that we can get to know each other better as well as practice the skills of presenting, listening, asking questions and making comments. This is a wonderful way to build our learning community together!
If your child loses their assignment, you may find the activity here All About Me Bag Activity Ideas and Instructions | Teaching Made Practical
Additionally, if your child is absent or they forget their assignment, they may share their "All About Me Bag" on the day that they return/remember. We will continue to share until everyone in the class has had a turn. Thank you for your support with this fun and engaging project!
