• Learning begins at 9:00 A.M.  Students should arrive at school by no later than 8:50 A.M. 

• Notify me if your child will be late, absent, or there is a change in how they will go home via the ParentSquare, email or call the office. 

• Make sure your child is reading at home and check in with them about homework and friendships. (Math Parent homework help is available in the "Helpful Information" page of this site.)

• Monitor their technology usage at home (phone apps, chromebook time , social media etc. )

• Return office paperwork as soon as possible.

1. Be responsible (Own up to your mistakes, listen attentively to understand directions, turn in homework, office papers, etc.)

2. Be safe ( Controlling our bodies and minds)

3. Be respectful (Be kind to others, property and yourself)

Whole Class - The class can earn beads for following expectations!  When the bead jar is full, the class earns a reward!

Individual- Students can write their name down for following expectations on Tarkington's Bingo card.  They could win a prize from the office!

• Daily Homework: Read 30 minutes every night out loud.

• Occasional Homework : Math Practice, IXL,  projects and catch up work

• NO HOMEWORK ON THE WEEKENDS, unless there are missing assignments or unfinished classwork.
