My name is Laci Gault. I was born in Augusta, Georgia and moved to Simpsonville, South Carolina at the young age of five. I currently live in Piedmont, South Carolina with my husband of 19 and our teenage son. We also have a daughter who is a sophomore this year at the University of South Carolina in Columbia. I love traveling and spending as much time as possible with my family. In the summer you can find us poolside or exploring a new beach!
I began working with children while completing my undergraduate degree at Newberry College. I was a camp counselor during the summers at a local girl scout camp. My experience as a camp counselor led me to my job after college which was working with children in a residential setting. I worked with children and adolescents in need of behavioral and mental health supports. I have a great love for helping others! I have completed my masters degree in Special Education at Grand Canyon University. Prior to working a Bryson I worked as an autism aide in a multi-categorical self-contained classroom. this is my second year teaching ID Mod at Bryson and I couldn't be more excited!
I am eager to start the school year and help each student to have a positive outlook on school and learning. I know that we will all learn and grow together every day!
