Process Two

Researching Previous Missions

In this process, you will begin to consider designs for your probe. Designs usually begin with a look back at what types of designs were used in the past. Your mission in process two is to research past missions or flybys to your planet, decide on what questions you hope to answer with your probe mission, and plan what modifications or equipment you need to add to your probe to complete your mission. Use the links below to complete your research. Complete a one page mission statement with questions that you hope to answer with your probe. A sketch of your probe should also be included in this process.
