About Mrs. F-D

Another year of learning has started ~ welcome back! This is my 20th year in education with it being my first year as the 8th grade Language Arts teacher here at St. Croix Central Middle School. Prior to teaching at SCC, I taught 11 years at Menomonie High School as a 9-12th grade English, Speech & Theater teacher while also serving as the Head Forensics Coach. From there, I worked for nine years as the 7th grade Language Arts teacher and forensics coach at Viking Middle School in Baldwin-Woodville. I've continued my passion for public speaking by serving for the Wisconsin High School Forensics Association (WHSFA) on Speech Advisory for Middle Level Forensics. Besides teaching and coaching speech, I can be found reading, writing, gardening, boating, swimming, and spending time with family. Speaking of family, I am married to my husband Travis, and we are proud parents to three amazing sons -- Ethan, Chayce, and Eli, who attend B-W Schools. I am proud to be part of the SCC school community, and I am so excited to be your teacher! My classroom will always be a safe place to learn.
