The 2021-2022 school year is my 26th year teaching. I began my teaching career at Fairview Elementary. I taught there for 12 years. Interesting fact: Ms. Caitlin was my 2nd grade student!!! I am beginning my 14th year here at Robbins Elementary. I have taught Kindergarten, 2nd grade, 4th grade, 4th &5th grades English and Writing. This is my 8th year teaching 3rd grade Reading and Social Studies.

I received my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from Middle Tennessee State University. Go Blue Raiders! I received my Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Tennessee. Go Vols! #VFL

I am married to Phillip Huckeby, and we have 2 daughters. Lily and Elly. We have three dogs: Rufus, Champ, and Jack.

My family loves to travel. Our most recent adventure was out west to the Grand Canyon, Mesa Verde, the Petrified Forest, and the Gateway Arch. We drove through 11 states. We went to Yellowstone National Park in the summer of 2019. We drove through 5 states to get there! We made memories to last a lifetime. I hope to share some pictures with you when we begin our geography and states units.

I love teaching 3rd grade. I am so excited about this upcoming year.
