Fountas & Pinnell is the district adopted curriculum for reading instruction. Fountas and Pinnell provides students with many different modalities of learning. Classes take part in Interactive Read Alouds, Shared Reading, Guided Reading, Phonics/Word Study, etc. by providing leveled readings that meet each student at their current lexile level.
When students are in need of more support, Fountas & Pinnell Leveled Literacy Intervention (LLI) is used as a part of our intervention services (RtI Tier 2) and Special Education.
