Hello! My name is Mrs. Clark, and I am excited to be returning to Pleasant Union for another year of teaching 2nd grade! I am originally from Western Maryland, but have spent my college years and beyond living in both Arizona (where I received my undergrad degree in Elementary Education) and Oregon before settling down in North Carolina seventeen years ago.

My husband Nic and I have two children. Our son Quinn will be entering eighth grade this year at Pine Hollow and our daughter, Lila, is entering the sixth grade. We also have a Brittany Spaniel named Bongo, who keeps us on our toes!

This year will mark my seventeenth year teaching. I started teaching Pre-K in Oregon, followed by four years of teaching kindergarten in Wake County. I took a few years off to stay home with my children, then returned to Pre-K while my children were there. This will be my eighth year teaching 2nd grade and it truly is the best!

When I'm not teaching, I enjoy baking, gardening, heading to my children's soccer or baseball games, going to concerts, spending time outdoors, and traveling to new places.
