Welcome Friends!

Welcome to our class web page!  My name is Carla Smith and I am a 1st grade teacher at Dunbar for Lufkin Independent School in Lufkin, Texas.   This is my 22ed year to teach at Dunbar.  I'm in the same room I started in,  but the room changes year to year.   I am a former Lufkin Panther,  Houston Cougar  and SFA Lumberjack I am excited to continue the Panther tradition.

I am married to Curt and we have 3 amazing children, Kyle , Kody and Callie.  My boys live here in Lufkin and Callie is serving our Country in the US Navy.
