Homework
In this classroom, most “homework” assignments are classroom assignments that require additional time at home for completion. Time management strategies will determine the amount of work a student will need to complete at home. To help with planning, tasks listed on the left under "homework" have a due date and there will be no more class time to complete these tasks. The tasks listed on the right under "assignments" are ongoing classroom tasks that students are completing. The "assignments" on the right will also serve as our classroom's T.T.D. (things to do) List.
It is the student's responsibility to record all assignments in his/her planner. Mistakes happen! It is the student's choice to take responsibility for a mistake. If you find that something has been left left at school, see if it is available online, contact a friend, or create a comparable assignment. If an assignment is not turned in on time, there will be a zero in the grade book until the assignment is turned in. Please see Stonegate's 5th Grade Homework Policy.
