My family..

I've been happily married to Mark, my husband, for over 20 years. We have a daughter, Isabella and several furry animal family members.

My parents, who've been married for over 58 years, live near by as do my two sisters and brother. I've been fortunate to have many close family members and friends in the area.

My Undergraduate

I graduated from Elon College (now University) in 1999 with my B.A. in Social Science Education. Elon sits between Greensboro and Raleigh NC.

My Graduate Work started at Purdue University. In 2007 I graduated with my M.S. in Curriculum and Instruction. Purude, a Big 10 school, is roughly two blocks from where I currently teach.

During the spring of 2011, before having my daughter, I completed my Principal's Licensure program through IWU.
