My husband Sam and I celebrated our 43rd wedding anniversary on May 10, 2023. We live on Abernethy Acres, a 60-acre farm, in Harrisville.
Sam and I have three children, two girls and a boy. This is a picture of one of our annual traditional Christmas photos at Sheetz.
This is my oldest daughter , Sara. She has an MBA and is a real estate entrepreneur in the Finger Lakes of upper New York state. She owns and manages a variety of properties. One of her properties is forty acres with three cabins, one is a wedding venue with seven cottages called New Park Event Venue & Suites, and one is a restaurant/venue called Cedarwood Event Venue. She gives the family plenty of places to gather and relax!

My middle child, Samantha (Mandy or Sam), is a journalist and at one time she managed barackobama.com. Currently she freelances in Chicago where she lives with her husband, Scott, my darling grandchildren, Ike and Penny, and their greyhound, Ruby.

My son Dan is always down for adventure! He traveled the country with his girlfriend, Ashley as a traveling Physical Therapist Assistant moving from town to town every three to six months. Dan and Ashley eventually bought a house and settled down in Oregon giving my husband and I a cool place to visit. :)

I come from a very large, very close family. My maiden name is Ford and this is the most complete Ford family picture I have. My niece's husband and daughter and one nephew are the only members missing. I am truly lucky to still have both of my parents in my life. They are in the center of the picture just as they are in the center of all of their children's lives. I have five brothers who are all married and have children. My parents have fifteen grandchildren and one great grandchild. The Ford family is truly blessed!
Update: Mom passed October 10, 2021. There are now six great grandchildren.
