All About Us

My name is Lisa Vickers and I have been teaching in D92 for over 20 yrs.

I LOVE teaching almost as much as I LOVE science. 

I am a graduate of D92, still live in the community, and sent my own kids to D92.  

My husband is also a science teacher, so we geek out to science documentaries in our free time. 

I am a big believer in learning styles and therefore, like to present content in multiple ways.

I believe in 2nd chances, corrections, and redos.  

I love watching kids learn and am always here to help you. 

My name is Jennifer Poll and I have been teaching Special Education for over 7 yrs.

I co-teach with Mrs. Vickers 6th and 8th hrs.  

I also co-teach with Mrs. Kuckowski and had many of you as students last year. 

I have a 2-year-old son named Andrew, a 1-year-old son named Cameron, and a fur baby named Daisy.

I believe that there are a 100 different paths to get to the same destination when it comes to learning.

I believe students should advocate for themselves and how they want to learn/produce work.
