All About Me

I was born and raised in Guymon, OK. I moved to Mitchell, SD in 2007 and attended Dakota Wesleyan University where I majored in Elementary Education and couldn’t wait to graduate and start teaching. I have also earned my endorsement in English as a New Language. This is my twelfth year of teaching, but it is my tenth year in the Mitchell School District. I am so excited to be able to teach at the Middle School. For the past eight years I have been the MHS Competitive Dance Coach and this will be my fourth year coaching the Basketball Cheerleaders. GO KERNELS!!!

I am married to a wonderful man, Jesse, who is an electrician for a wind tower company in White Lake. We have the most adorable daughter, Brooke, she is an eighth grader at MMS, and our little guy, Cooper, will be starting fourth grade in the fall. Our family likes to camp, hunt, 4-wheel, be outside, dance, laugh, and be together.
