My name is Jamie Valenski and I am very excited to be your child's kindergarten teacher! This is my fourteenth year teaching, and it’s my third at OHES. I grew up in Massapequa, New York and graduated from Marist College in Poughkeepsie, New York with Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Educational Psychology. After college I began teaching in Hawaii, then North Carolina, and for the past eight years in New Jersey! Although I have moved around quite a bit, I am very happy to call New Jersey our home. I’ve always loved school myself and I cannot wait to share my passion for learning with your children. When I am not teaching, I enjoy traveling, reading, exercising, cooking, dining-out, going to the beach, but most of all spending time with family, Mr. Valenski and our three sons, Jude, James, and Oliver.
