About Me

I am so happy to be one of the special education teachers here at J. Larry Newton. I am looking forward to a fantastic school year! I graduated from the University of South Alabama with a bachelors degree in Education. I have been teaching for twenty-one years. I began my teaching career at Pine Grove Elementary and have been teaching here at J. Larry Newton since 2007. I have been happily married for 24 years and we have two wonderful daughters. I enjoy reading, outdoor activities, and spending time with my family.
