Sacraments of Initiation
Fifth grade explores the three Sacraments of Initiation: Baptism, Confirmation and Eucharist.
Projects will include a baptismal interview and poster board, Saint Biography with Google slide presentation and knowledge of Mass and the sacramentals.
Sacraments of Healing
Sacraments of Healing
Students will learn about these two sacraments: Reconciliation and Anointing of the Sick.
The concept and types of prayer will also be introduced and discussed.

Students will explore the aspects of the last two sacraments: Matrimony and Holy Orders.

Along with instruction, students will also participate in song practice, 5th grade Mass, Advent and Lent services and The Living Stations. Our religion curriculum is based on Blest Are We book. Students may use the following links for review of chapters and topics.

Each student is also given religion notes from the Archdiocese of Philadelphia along with all prayers. These are located in their religion section of their binder. I have attached a copy of the notes and the prayers.
