A Farewell Song: "Nobody Knows"

Yonder Come Day

I found a way to record myself singing all three parts to this class favorite of ours! I hope you can sing along! Which part is your favorite to sing?

Want to see the inside of a piano?

This shows the hammers and strings that are connected to the white and black keys.

Did you know that a piano tuner has a tool that can hear 100 pitches in between two keys that are right next to each other on a piano?

One of my piano keys isn't working. Can you point to which one by looking at the hammers?

Here is the bottom. In one of my older pianos, I had to keep a jar of water here to keep the humidity and keep it in tune.

One piano tuner told me he hides his kids' Christmas presents here so they don't peak.

Here is a short, animated video about how the inside of a grand piano works.
