About Mrs. Santarella
Mrs. Santarella has been teaching music since 1981 and at Gunnison Elementary School since 2006. Having earned her bachelor and masters degrees in music education from Oberlin College Conservatory of Music, she has performed as a pianist and singer, composed music and taught music to all ages. Her students inspire her to write musical shows such as "Pirates Go to School" and "How the Elves Saved Christmas".

She enjoys bicycling with her husband on their tandem bike, traveling, walking, sewing, reading and hanging out with family and friends.
