I grew up in California, just two miles from the beach! The beach is one of my favorite places! This is my 36th year of teaching!  I taught 3rd grade and kindergarten for 16 years in California.  We then moved to Denton, Texas where I have been teaching 2nd and 3rd grade at Ryan Elementary.  I have been married for 34 years to my husband, Albert. I have a daughter, Allyson who is married and lives in Oklahoma.  She is a teacher, too.  My son Andrew is married and lives in Denton with his family.  I have 4 grandchildren who I LOVE spending time with.   In my spare time, I like to garden, read, travel, and walk and hang out with my dog Bear.
