About me
Hi everyone! My name is Rocio Rivas, you can call me Mrs. Rivas.I have been married to my husband for 16 years and together we have 3 boys; Luis who is 15, Nico who is 11 and Alex who is 9. Our boys keep us busy with all their adventures and nonsense. We like to take little getaway weekends to Albuquerque, Lubbock and Amarillo.
I have taught preschool for 8 years and loved every minute of it! I really enjoy working with little ones because they learn so much and are always excited. The best part of teching is when a child applies what you have taught them and use it correctly. You can almost picture the light bulb turn on.
EDF 309 Reflection
Everything that I have learned in EDF 309 will come in handy once I have my classroom. I will be able to apply my knowledge into creating usefull resources for my students. Even though it is a little time consuming, with enough practice and repetition it should come with ease. I have been exposed to so many new platforms and resources. We are teaching in a technology world.
