Hello, my name is Cara Ray and I'm so excited to be your teacher this year! I have been a teacher at Ray Childers Elementary for 9 years. I taught 2nd grade for four years and this is my fifth year teaching 1st grade. I am currently enrolled at ECU finishing up my Master's Degree in Reading Education. My husband, Bobby, and I have a son named Miles. We live in Newton with our dog, Waffles, and our cat, Wasabi. I look forward to getting to know each one of you and helping you grow as students and as friends.
