Reading: We read to learn about others, places, events, ourselves, yesterday, today, and tomorrow. We read fiction and non-fiction texts to support and deepen our understanding of literature's authors, characters/people, plots, settings, and themes.
Writing: We write essays to reflect on, share important events, and learn about ourselves and the world around us.
Thinking: Scholars create, discuss, and write about unique characters, settings, and events that interact and convey meaning to the reader.
