Meet Mrs. Parsons

A little about me..

This is my first year teaching 5th grade at Carlton Oaks and my third year of teaching! I recently moved to California from Nebraska where I taught two years in fifth grade as well!. I received both my bachelors degree and my masters degree in elementary education at the University of Midland in Nebraska. I am passionate about teaching children to become leaders in our classroom as well as our community. When I am not teaching, you can find me reading, crafting, or playing with my Australian Shepherd dog!

As an elementary teacher, I am committed to creating a learning environment where each learner will be given an opportunity to grow academically and become an advocate in their education through ownership, collaboration, and experiences. I will ensure that I demonstrate this mission by pushing myself to grow each year and create objectives that provide data of my school, staff and students achievement.
